Indie RnB artist "djinn" has been selected to participate in the groundbreaking inaugural Black Queer Creative Summit, powered by Gilead Sciences and organized by GLAAD. This esteemed event brings together 150 talented creatives from across the globe to shape the future of Black queer creativity. Under the hashtag #BlackQueerCreativeSummit, this summit promises to be a transformative experience for all involved.
The Black Queer Creative Summit is a pioneering in-person event designed to empower, educate, and train emerging Black LGBTQ+ creatives across five essential sectors of the entertainment industry: Executives, Creators, Behind the Scenes, On-Screen Talent, and Music Supervision. This three-night, two-day summit will occur from Thursday, September 14 through Sunday, September 17, 2023, in the vibrant Los Angeles, California.
This monumental event will feature keynote speakers, plenaries, and breakout sessions led by top industry professionals. These sessions will provide valuable insights into various career opportunities within the entertainment industry, foster professional development, and establish a robust network for Black creatives.
GLAAD, a leading LGBTQ+ media advocacy organization, presents the Black Queer Creative Summit.
